Sorry, sorry, we are late again, but Barry Gibb's new single 'In the Now' is now on the A List of BBC Radio 2 playlist!  (week of Wednesday, 7th September)

Being on the A List means that the song gets played most often across different programs on Radio 2!

43 years ago today, Barry Gibb celebrated his 27th birthday in Japan - as he and his brothers kicked off their 1973 Japanese tour which took them to seven different Japanese cities, giving nine concerts in all.

The photo shows Barry during the rehearsal for the opening day of the second Japanese tour of the Bee Gees, at Tokyo Kosei Nenkin Kaikan Hall.  He is a picture of concentration here strumming his trademark white guitar with his eyes closed.
