44 years ago today, the Bee Gees were in the middle of their brief, first ever Japanese tour and played at Budokan in Tokyo, a venue since made famous by live albums by such celebrated acts like Bob Dylan and Cheap Trick.  

The photo on the right is from a Japanese music magazine, probably "Shinpu Journal," announcing the tour at that time.

Robin was in one of his rare "bearded" states.  And the photo also includes a printed autograph of Geoff Bridgeford who prior to the tour was generally regarded as a new Bee Gee.

The Bee Gees, who often consoled the broken-hearted throughout their long and illustrious career, are also known for the fact that their Fever-era mega hit Stayin' Alive has an ideal rhythm for performing CPR.  They have also been backing various medical researches. 
Now we received the following information from Barry's management. It seems they are really helping to mend broken hearts by simply saying they can use one of their best loved songs for a very worthy campaign!

Barry Gibb has NOT been booked to perform at Glastonbury this year

Barry Gibb's management denied the article on The Sun (online version dated February 10, 2016) which stated that Barry will be on the Glastonbury line-up this year.
